Ok - I'm back. My back's still a bit iffy, but it's mostly better. Man, what a shite show tonight! Goes to show that even the greats like me & JP have off nights. Should make any of you wannabe's feel better.
So - what's been going on? Well, we bought some "wacky" sound-making stuff for the show: a xylophone and a keyboard. I also want to get one of those bell/ding things you get at a hotel reception and a kazoo. If you know where I can get one or both, drop me a line at the usual address.
Been looking at the Justice for JP site, and they're as lazy as I am when it somes to updates. Get the finger out, you whining dogs! I believe the campaign is due to come to an end this week, with a press conference which will end the debate once and for all... keep it here for more...
Got hammered on Friday night. Don't do it kids - stay away from drink for the rest of your lives. I hate to admit it, but being the honest type, here goes: I got sick. Yes, I spent about 20 minutes on Friday night talking on the porcelain telephone. Felt much better afterwards though. We'd been drinking something known as mixed berry cider. DO NOT DRINK MORE THAN 1 PINT OF THIS STUFF!!! It tastes like fizzy Ribena on the way down, and like hell on the way up. Again - AVOID!!!
Hi also to Dusty (Rhodes - yes that one- long time hero from when I was a wannabe), and apologies once again - I called him on Friday and the first thing he said to me when he picked up the phone was "Hey Ray, just letting you know you're on speakerphone and my 8-year-old son is in the car."
"No problem," I reply. "I'll be careful".
"Cool - so how're things - any news?"
"No man, not a f**king - er, I mean effing thing... sorry."
"Ha ha - don't worry about it - what are you up to?"
"F**k all - sorry, I mean eff all..."
(sound of phone being taken off speakerphone)
"I'll call you later."
"Ok bye."
I think it's just if I have to not swear, I'm way more likely to say something I shouldn't. Anyway, sorry again - I genuinely f**king am.
By the way, I got a haircut. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it.
